Authenticity
Is it really
HAMCL.
Every retail box carries a 12-character code under a silver scratch panel. Enter it and we match it against the production record — no account, no order number, and nothing is stored.

Check a code
Find your code
Where the code lives
- Scratch panelSilver strip on the side of the box. It must be intact when the box reaches you — scratch gently, do not tear the panel.
- Code line12 letters and digits in one line under the panel, in the same type as the rest of the label.
- Batch and dateProduction run and date sit next to the code. Genuine boxes always carry both.
Genuine stock
What a genuine box carries
- A silver scratch panel that is intact and has not been scratched before you receive it.
- A 12-character code printed in one line, in the same type as the rest of the label.
- A batch code and production date next to the panel.
- The exact device name, puff count and flavor as listed on this site.
- The FDA nicotine warning block, the 21+ mark and the HAMCL logo, all crisply printed.
- A sealed retail box — genuine stock is never sold opened or resealed.
What to look for
Counterfeit red flags
If a reseller is 40% under everyone else on a current device, the stock is the first thing to question.
A code that has been revealed before sale cannot be verified — treat it as used.
Blurred logos, wrong fonts and inconsistent spacing are the most common tells.
Missing production date or batch code means the box did not come off a tracked line.
Counterfeit devices usually use a smaller cell and a lighter shell.
Marketplace listings from unknown sellers are the main source of fakes we see.
Report it
If you think you bought a fake
- Stop using the device
A counterfeit cell is the real risk here, not the nicotine.
- Keep everything
Box, scratch panel, receipt and the listing or chat where you bought it.
- Send us the details
Use the contact form with photos of the box, panel and device. We check the code against the batch record.
- We act on it
Confirmed counterfeits are reported to our brand-protection partners; if you bought from an authorised retailer we replace the product.
FAQ
Authenticity FAQ
Can a genuine code be reused on fakes?
It happens — counterfeiters copy one real code across a run. That is why a code alone is not proof: we check the code against the batch record and the packaging details together.
My code is not recognised. Is it definitely fake?
Not always. Misprints and transposed characters happen. Send a photo of the panel and we will confirm from the batch record.
Do I have to check the code before using the device?
No, but it is the only way to be sure. If the code fails after you have used the device, warranty support still applies to devices bought from us.
Does checking register my warranty?
No. Warranty runs from the delivery date on your order — keep the order confirmation.
The box has a QR code. Does that prove anything?
It is a shortcut to this page, nothing more. A printed QR can point anywhere, so we verify the 12-character code, not the square.
Bought from a reseller?
Send the code and photos; we will tell you whether the batch is ours.
